Introducing a New Delivery Option for Select Chicago Neighborhoods

We’re beginning a new in-house pick up and delivery option using Drop & Dash vans and drivers in select Chicago neighborhoods. Learn what’s changing, what’s staying the same, and what to expect as our new delivery vans hit the street!

Why We’re Starting In-House Delivery
Over the past year, many customers shared feedback about delivery timing, communication, and consistency. We heard that feedback loud and clear.
By introducing our own Drop & Dash vans and trusted in-house drivers, we can:
- Provide a more consistent and dependable delivery experience
- Improve communication around pickups and drop-offs
- Build stronger accountability from start to finish
This approach allows us to stay closely involved in the entire process while continuing to deliver the same high-quality laundry care you expect.
What to Expect During the Trial
Customers in the pilot area will now see two delivery options when placing an order:
- The Drop & Dash in-house delivery team
- Uber delivery, just as before

Regardless of which option you choose:
- All laundry is still professionally washed, dried, and folded by the same trusted Drop & Dash team
- All orders are processed at our Wash Smart facility using the same quality standards and procedures
For customers who need the fastest possible turnaround, same-day orders will continue to be picked up and delivered by Uber to ensure express service and reliability
What’s Not Changing
While this trial introduces a new delivery option, many things remain exactly the same:
- There are no changes to pricing
- Service options are unchanged
- Orders are still booked through our app, website, or customer service line
- Same-day service is still available for eligible orders
There are no new subscriptions, no required changes, and no impact on customers outside the trial area.
A Customer-Driven Solution
The limited rollout allows us to test improvements in a controlled way while continuing to deliver dependable service across all Drop & Dash locations. We’ll be closely reviewing performance and listening to customer feedback throughout the trial, and any future changes will be communicated clearly and only after careful evaluation.
