Introducing In-House Delivery to Chicago’s South Side

We’re excited to share an update for Drop & Dash customers. We are beginning a new in-house pickup and delivery option using our own branded vans and trusted drivers.
This new option gives customers more flexibility while helping us deliver a more consistent, reliable experience. Below, we’ll walk through what’s changing, what’s staying the same, and what to expect as our Drop & Dash vans begin serving this area.
Where This New Delivery Option Is Starting
This in-house delivery rollout is launching from our facility on Chicago’s south side and will serve the area south of West Garfield Boulevard, east of S Kedzie Avenue and north of West 119th St.

Why We’re Introducing In-House Delivery Here
Over the past year, customers have shared helpful feedback around delivery timing, communication, and overall consistency. That input played a key role in this next step.
By using our own Drop & Dash vans and in-house drivers, we’re able to:
- Deliver a more predictable and dependable pickup and drop-off experience
- Improve communication throughout the delivery window
- Strengthen accountability by keeping more of the process within our team
This allows us to stay closely connected to each order while continuing to provide the same high-quality laundry care customers expect from Drop & Dash.
What to Expect When Placing an Order
Customers in this service area will now see two delivery options when scheduling an order:
- Drop & Dash in-house delivery team
- Uber delivery, just as before
No matter which option you choose:
- Laundry is still professionally washed, dried, and folded by the trusted Drop & Dash team
- Orders continue to be processed using the same quality standards and procedures
Same-day orders will continue to be picked up and delivered by Uber to help ensure reliable service for customers who the fast turnaround,

What’s Staying the Same
While this update adds a new delivery option, many important things are not changing:
- Pricing remains the same
- Service options are unchanged
- Orders can still be booked through our app, website, or over the phone
- Same-day turnaround is still available for eligible orders
There are no subscriptions, no required changes, and no impact on customers outside the rollout area.
A Local, Customer-Driven Step Forward
Starting in-house delivery allows us to make improvements in a thoughtful, controlled way while continuing to deliver dependable service across all Drop & Dash locations.
We’ll be closely reviewing performance and listening to customer feedback as this rollout continues. Any future changes or expansions will be shared clearly and only after careful evaluation.
